Kilkeaskin Molly being turned out for her break
We are very fortunate to be based here at The Beeches Farm in Sutton Veny. It is a lovely place for both equines and humans – and no time is better than Springtime. We have for such a long time sat through wet, grey days this past long winter, but it is just amazing that once the clocks change, the swallows arrive and everything springs into life. Just by the barn we have kestrels nesting in their box and an unknown bird incubating its eggs on a nest in the pony’s haynet in a stable – so that stable is now out of bounds – the cock pheasants are fighting over their mates and the horses are enjoying being out in the paddocks. It is the perfect time of year.
Here is a video of Kilkeaskin Molly being turned out on Monday morning for her six-week break in a fresh, well rested paddock.
