We are very excited to announce another new horse into the yard called Crowd of Stars. Todd, as he is affectionately known, has been sent to us by new owners to the sport, Oliver and Rachel Hoddinott.

Todd is a 6-year-old un-raced gelding by Yeats out of a mare called On Yer Own.  Yeats was a fantastic racehorse who won over £1m in prize money, winning the Ascot Gold Cup four times. Todd has super presence and is a very good-looking young horse who moves beautifully.  He has settled in very well to his routine and is another who loves his turnout as you can see in the video below. We will continue to introduce him to everything slowly as is key with young horses.

As with every horse, there is usually a story behind them; and it is plain to see the affection that the Hoddinotts hold in Todd. The family bred him and have raised him at their home and, all the family including the children are very fond of this horse as you would expect. In fact, one of their sons is very keen on eventing and he had done some work with Todd before he came to us which is noticeable and will certainly stand Todd in good stead. He is an interesting character and will be given time to come to himself and we will run him when he is ready. So far, things are going very well and we are delighted to have him on the yard.
