Golden Dove & Nivelle's Magic: two flat horses in training enjoying paddock time
This time of year I love, Springtime, when the horses are able to get out onto some grass. And here we have Golden Dove, she has been placed so many times on the flat over the winter and has recently won but she has always been in the money, such a genuine lovely filly. And next to her is our new arrival, Nivelle’s Magic, who is a young, flat horse. She was only beaten a length last time and has improved, I think, well over a stone since coming to us. And these two lovely flat horses, at the moment just in the afternoon go out and relax, chill out. I love to see it. I love to see horses getting on well and I love to see horses resting really well. They say that the most important thing for athletes to perform at their best is decent rest and relaxation. So here, I think you can see in this video, that I think we have it, and it is lovely to see.
In all honesty, both these two horses have been performing really well on the flat and I’m delighted with them. Nivelle’s Magic hasn’t had many runs, but being beaten by just a length last time out was the best race of her life. I think there’s much more improvement to come from her.
It is a great place to be here at Simon Earle Racing, if you are a racehorse. They get good quality work and good quality rest
